Fee Information and other FAQs

  • Individual sessions are $180

Under federal law, the No Surprises Act requires health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

  • 6 Months of SSP: $600
This includes access to the SSP app on your phone or tablet and ongoing email support. Not everyone will need the full six months, while others may require longer. If the protocol takes longer, it will be $100 per month for the remainder of the process.

For those who are not regular therapy clients, the following will also be required:

    Initial Assessment Session: $180
This session customizes the SSP to meet your specific needs. If you’re already working with me in somatic therapy, we can integrate this into one of your regular sessions.

Monthly Video Check-Ins: $90 per month (minimum)
These 30-minute sessions help monitor your progress and adjust the protocol as needed. Additional sessions can be scheduled, and if you're already a somatic therapy client, we can integrate these check-ins into your regular sessions.

I’m committed to supporting you throughout the SSP process, making sure you have the tools and guidance you need at every step. Whether you’re focusing solely on SSP or integrating it with regular somatic therapy, I’m here to help you feel confident and cared for. If you’re ready to begin or have any questions, feel free to reach out or book a consultation.

  • I accept credit or debit cards, ACH transfers, and Zelle at this time.

  • I do not accept insurance, but I provide monthly superbills for clients who wish to seek reimbursement from their insurance. If you're interested in pursuing this, you’ll want to check with your insurance company to ask about out-of-network benefits.

It’s important to know that using insurance for therapy can come with some drawbacks. Insurance companies require a formal diagnosis for reimbursement, and this diagnosis becomes part of your permanent medical record. This could potentially affect opportunities down the line, such as applying for certain jobs, including those in law enforcement, the military, or other high-security roles. Additionally, insurance companies may request access to treatment records for reimbursement, which can impact your privacy.

While I can provide a superbill, which would include a diagnosis, it’s important to weigh these potential consequences and decide what’s best for you. If maintaining your privacy or avoiding a formal diagnosis is a priority, paying out of pocket may be the best option.

  • I require 48 hours' notice for cancellations. If you do not cancel your appointment within that time frame or don't show up, you will be charged for the session.

  • I currently offer virtual sessions only. Somatic therapy works just as well online because you’re in a space that feels familiar and safe. Being at home means you can settle into your favorite chair, have your pet nearby, or keep comforting items close, which can make you feel more at ease during our work together. Feeling safe and comfortable in your own space helps make the therapy more effective and allows us to really focus on your healing.

Plus, online sessions make life easier—you don’t have to take time off work, deal with traffic, or worry about finding parking. It’s therapy that fits into your routine, with less stress and more convenience.

  • It's completely normal to feel nervous or unsure about starting therapy. Many people feel uncertain when beginning this process, especially if it’s their first time or if they've had difficult experiences in the past.

I work to create a safe, supportive space where we can explore your mind-body connection, emotions, and thoughts at your own pace.

My goal is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and in control of your journey.

We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, and there’s no pressure to dive into anything before you’re ready. It’s okay to start slow, ask questions, and express any concerns you have along the way.
